FEATURES
SimpleBAU Ecological Acrylic Primer – ecological primer emulsion, contains no coalescents and solvents.
It reduces paint consumption, improves the adhesion of further layers of other products such as paints, plasters, fillers or adhesives. Equalises the absorbency of the substrate so that subsequent coats achieve optimal and even adhesion. Protects the substrate from the damaging effects of moisture.
It penetrates deeply into the surface, facilitates surface preservation and reduces dust formation. It improves uniformity and time of bonding in plastering and filling works.
The product is colourless and vapour permeable after drying.
APPLICATION AREA
SimpleBAU Ecological Acrylic Primer is used as a primer to reinforce old and new substrates with high absorbency such as concrete, aerated concrete surfaces, plasters (cement lime, lime, gypsum), boards (cement, gypsum, plasterboard) and sandstone.
Emulsion for old and new substrates as primer for paint coats, plasters, wallpapers, screeds, ceramic tiles, layers of acrylic and mineral mortars, fillers and adhesives.
It can be used indoors, outdoors and in heated floor structures.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must be dry, clean and free of dust, grease, old paint residues and loose particles that may affect the adhesion of the primer.
Dirt and poorly adhesive coatings should be removed and filled with a suitable material (e.g. plaster, filler).
APPLICATION
The product is delivered ready to use.
Using a roller, trowel or sprayer, apply the undiluted product to the substrate in an even layer.
Apply the undiluted product to the substrate with a roller, trowel or by spraying in an even and thin layer.
If the substrate is still absorbent after drying, the primer should be repeated.
Do not start painting, wallpapering, tiling and the like before the emulsion has dried. The primer should form a matt surface after drying.
The drying time depends on air temperature and humidity and averages 4 hours after application.
