FEATURES
SimpleBAU S2 SUPER CONNECT is a ready-to-use polymer filler for jointing gypsum boards without the use of jointing tape. Thanks to the use of suitable mineral components, polymer dispersions and nanofibres of the latest generation, the filler has very good technical properties. It is characterised by high flexibility and strength, ensures the durability of joints, has the consistency of a white paste that does not turn yellow when exposed to light.
The product is excellent for filling defects and cracks in walls and ceilings.
It ensures a perfect end result – perfectly smooth walls and ceilings.
APPLICATION AREA
SimpleBAU S2 SUPER CONNECT is designed for connecting
plasterboard, both with factory profile and manually beveled edges. It can be used to connect
gypsum fibreboards and dry screed boards. The high flexibility and strength of the filler ensure the durability of joints without the need to apply a joint tape.
SimpleBAU S2 SUPER CONNECT is also used to repair holes, cracks and defects in the surface of walls and ceilings.
It has excellent adhesion to plaster substrates, plasterboards, aerated concrete surfaces, cement plaster, lime cement plaster and can also be used on concrete substrates.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Plasterboard should be firmly attached to the substructure, dry and free of dust and other contaminants. Sharp edges should be chamfered, dusted and primed (with simpleBau Special Primer ULTRA or simpleBAU Deep Penetrating Small Molecular Primer). The heads of plasterboard screws should be filled with the filler; after curing, small uneven areas should be removed.
APPLICATION
SimpleBAU S2 SUPER CONNECT putty is ready to use. After opening the container, stir the contents well until a uniform consistency is achieved.
SimpleBAU S2 SUPER CONNECT filler should be applied evenly with a stainless steel or plastic flat trowel.
Missing parts, holes and cracks must not be wider than 3 mm.
Joints should be filled in at least two layers.
Fill the joints with the prepared paste using an angled trowel, making sure the joints are filled accurately. After the joint has cured, grout again with the filler using a wide trowel. This ensures an even finish.
Before applying the next coat and before painting, the surface should be dusted or primed with SimpleBAU
primer.
Final levelling with the surface of the panels should be done after the filler has dried completely, by sanding with a polycarbonate sanding grid or sandpaper.
Work should be carried out with clean tools. Clean tools with water after work.
