PROPERTIES
SimpleBAU Ecological acrylic primer – ecological priming emulsion, does not contain coalescent and solvents. Reduces paint consumption, improves the adhesion of subsequent layers of products such as paints, gypsum finishes, plasters and adhesives. Evens out the absorption of substrates, thanks to which subsequent coats have optimum and uniform adhesion. Protects substrates from harmful effects of moisture. It has high penetrating capacity, facilitates maintenance of substrates and reduces dustiness. When plastering and filling up, it improves and optimizes the speed of setting. After drying it is colourless and vapour-permeable.
APPLICATION
SimpleBAU Ecological acrylic primer is used on old and new substrates with absorbent properties: concrete, aerated concrete, plaster (cement-lime, lime, gypsum), panels (cement, gypsum, gypsum-cardboard), sandstone. Priming emulsion for application also on old and new substrates under paints, plasters, wallpapers, screeds, ceramic tiles, acrylic and mineral plasters, putties and adhesives. Can be used indoors and outdoors and in heated floor structures.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be dry, clean, free of dust, grease, old paint and small elements that may impair adhesion of the preparation. Dirt and layers with poor adhesion should be removed and filled in with a suitable material, e.g.: plaster, putty.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The product is ready to use. Apply to the substrate in undiluted form using a roller, brush or by spraying as an even and thin layer. If the substrate is still absorbent after drying, repeat the priming. Painting, wallpapering, gluing tiles, etc., should be commenced after the emulsion has dried. After drying the primer should form a matt surface. Drying time according to temperature and ambient humidity, about 4 hours after applying the coat.
