PROPERITES
SimpleBAU D1TE ULTRAFLEX ADHESIVE, READY TO USE is a ready-to-use, dispersion-based, thin-bed adhesive for all types of building tiles. It is a highly flexible adhesive with high bonding strength that can be used on deformable surfaces.
It can be used for indoor and outdoor bonding and for underfloor heating systems. It is solvent-free, frost and water resistant.
SimpleBAU D1TE ULTRAFLEX has the consistency of a thick paste. It is a thin-bed adhesive – the recommended layer thickness is approximately 3-4 mm.
SimpleBAU D1TE ULTRAFLEX is a dispersion adhesive with improved performance and extended open time.
APPLICATION
SimpleBAU D1TE ULTRAFLEX is designed for use on a variety of substrates: concrete, floors, aerated concrete, plaster, ceramics, glass, wood and deformable surfaces encountered in construction, such as plasterboard, chipboard, wood-based panels. Can be used on substrates with underfloor heating and non-absorbent substrates such as old tiles.
The properties of the adhesive make it possible to bond all types of ceramic tiles, as well as floor tiles, glazed tiles, terracotta – indispensable in the tile-on-tile method, marble slabs, stone, glass blocks and polystyrene elements.
It is used indoors and outdoors.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must be properly cleaned, seasoned, dry and load-bearing.
Poorly bonded, unstable surfaces, i.e. Loose, settling particles should be completely removed.
Chipboard and OSB should be sanded and vacuumed.
The surface to be bonded should be primed with a suitable simpleBau primer depending on the type of substrate.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SimpleBAU D1TE ULTRAFLEX is ready for use after mixing.
Apply the prepared mortar with a notched trowel (tooth size 2 – 4 mm) or in a thin layer with a spatula. Once the adhesive has been applied to the tiles, they should be lightly moved and pressed against the substrate until the excess adhesive flows out.
The open time of the mortar should not be exceeded, so the size of the mortar-covered area should be adjusted according to the possibility of laying tiles.
Corrections can be made up to about 20 minutes after application of the adhesive.
The dispersion adhesive binds and hardens by evaporating water.
Work should not be carried out in rain, too much sunshine or strong wind.
Joint grouting is possible after approximately 48 hours.
Fresh stains and tools contaminated with glue should be cleaned with water. Remove the hardened material mechanically.
